  2. Welcome to TRD! The following guide will give you an orientation to TRD. We hope you will have a great experience and land your first education job! Please contact your school’s career center should you have any further questions. Best of luck!

  3. TRD USA Check-In & Orientation Be sure to arrive on time and have your registration email and photo ID ready. Check-in lines are arranged alphabetically by your last name so be sure you are in the correct line. Upon receiving your information packet proceed to Room 101 where orientation will be held.   4. TRD Erie-Niagara Check-In View Check-In video When arriving for your prescheduled interview for TRD Erie-Niagara plan to check in 15 minutes prior to the interview. After checking in be seated in the row marked with the district name. Listen for the district Representative to call your name. Note* There is no additional registration for TRD Erie-Niagara – All interviews have been prearranged.

  6. TRD USA Interview Sign Ups You may sign up for as many interviews as you would like based on your availability and the districts schedule and certification needs.   7. TRD USA Interviews View Interview video Check in at the appropriate check-in desk 15 minutes prior to your interview. District representatives will meet you in your assigned waiting area. Interview times will vary from 15 to 30 minutes. Be prepared, you may be interviewed by multiple recruiters.

  9. Getting More Interviews-Group MeetingsTRD USA Some districts will hold group meetings and will post the times. Check the Group Meetings board frequently. View Group Meetings video

  10. Getting More Interviews Open Interview Boards TRD USA View Open Interview Boards video Districts will post any open interview times still available on boards in the lobby. Check the boards often!

  11. Getting More Interviews! Open interviews may occur from additional schedules, cancellations and no shows. These interviews are filled by an on-site lottery system that are most often for high demand fields. Bring extra copies of your resume just in case! View Open Interview Lottery video

  12. Candidate Information Center The candidate information center is located in the lobby of the Convention Center to help assist you with any needs or questions you may have. This is also the area where you drop off your event evaluations. View Candidate Information Center video

Participant Perspectives Get inside advice from previous participants on how to prepare for your interviews including questions you will likely be asked, how to navigate your interview signups and overall impressions of TRD.   15. Follow-upGetting Offers, Contracts & Thank You Letters • Make sure to ask recruiters who you should follow up with after you interview. • Job offers will be made at TRD. Be sure to read carefully any contract you sign. • We encourage you to send Thank you letters after TRD.
