Eagles and Cheetahs. By Gregory Mount. Some eagles use their wings to trap the fish so it won’t get out. First the eagles trap the fish in sharp talons then uses it’s wings to hold the fish.

  2. Some eagles use their wings to trap the fish so it won’t get out. First the eagles trap the fish in sharp talons then uses it’s wings to hold the fish.

  3. All eagles have extraeyelids to protect them from something hitting their eyes and to clean their eyes so they can see better.

  4. When an eagle flaps its wings most of the power comes from the down stroke to fly good. For this reason, the muscles that pull the wings down are much larger then the muscles that pull the wings up. Yum. I’m going to catch you!

  5. Cheetahs All cheetahs have a dark stripe along the side of their face to protect the glare from the sun. Some football players rub black grease for the same reason.

  6. All cheetahs have rasp-like tongues to scrap the last bit of meat off of bones.

  7. With there long legs and springy backbones, cheetahs can take very long steps, and so they can cover a lot of ground.
