ComputingShift Improvements • Preamble • T0 motoring over the weekend of June 17 gave us an insight on our shift operations • Shifters file unnecessary or duplicate tickets • Root Causes • Shifter has too many duties that requires them to follow blindly • Tasks are unprioritized making shifters spend large amount of time on details of a particular tasks that could be a time sink • Shifters do not have up-to-date issues for short term, midterm and long term standing issues

  2. Proposed Improvements • Prioritize the shifter tasks on TWiKi • Revisit current order of tasks • Reflect these priorities on the shifter TODO app • Increase the frequency for important monitoring tasks? • Include monitoring refresh on the TODO? • Revive and maintain the issues WiKi Ueda created • AMODs to update these issues current • Shifters to check these issues at the beginning of each shift • Need to determine carefully what the criteria for each of the category is in order not to make this page irrelevant
