North Inlet, Georgetown, SC Kevin Kurtz, author of A Day in the Salt Marsh, joins nature photographer, Karen Beshears, visual arts teacher, Marie Nichols, and marine educators from South Carolina Sea Grant and North Inlet-Winyah Bay NERR for a workshop designed to capture the science of the salt marsh through art and literature. • What Will You Experience? • Learn about salt marsh ecosystems from regional scientists in the classroom and field. • Develop skills in photography, literature and visual arts to capture the salt marsh. • Combine artistic and science information to use in your classroom! What is the Cost? Registration is $40 and includes all supplies, professional instruction, lodging, and 2 breakfasts/2 lunches/1 dinner. Who Can Apply? Open to ANY South Carolina formal/informal educator.
