This document provides a detailed analysis of a Class A power amplifier using a given schematic. With a base-emitter voltage (VBE) of 0.7V, and resistances RB = 1kΩ and RE = 10Ω, we will determine the quiescent output voltage (VCEQ) and current (ICQ). Additionally, it includes the sketching of direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) load lines, as well as calculating the maximum output compliance for the amplifier to understand its operational limits.

Question 1 Fig. 1 shows a class A power amplifier. Assuming that the base-emitter voltage (VBE) of the transistor in conduction is 0.7V. If the resistance RB = 1k and RE = 10 , (a) determine the quiescent output voltage VCEQ and current ICQ (b) sketch the d.c. and a.c. load line. (c) find the maximum output compliance.
