Dive into a fun and creative project where we take a colored picture from your coloring book and transform it into a unique Superman-themed artwork. Follow these steps: cut your artwork into strips, create letters that spell "HERO," and design a cool stencil. Experiment by layering your letters over a friend's artwork for an innovative twist. Finally, capture the final design by placing the letters on a shirt just like Superman wears his emblem! This engaging activity is perfect for art lovers of all ages.

Step 1 • Take a picture of a picture you have colored from your coloring book because who doesn’t like to color?
Step 2 • Let’s take that wonderful picture you just colored and cut it up into nice strips!
Step 3 • Ok let’s turn these strips into a word. What is a good word that describes Superman?
Step 4 • Ok now that we have HERO letters, what should we do with them? Let’s tape these letters together and make a stencil out of them.
Step 5 • So that stencil looks pretty cool let’s try to make a shadow like the example we saw.
Step 6 • I don’t know about the shadow stencil idea. Ok scratch that let’s try something different with our letters. First we need to borrow some of our good friends artwork. Thanks Olivia Thompson!
Step 7 • Ok that picture is awesome… Wait I have an idea let’s put our letters on top of our friends artwork that would be legit.
Step 8 • So that last idea was pretty awesome but I am pretty sure we can do better. Where does Superman wear his symbol? ON HIS CHEST! Ok let’s take off the shirt, tape on the letters, and give Olivia the camera.
Step 9 • Awesome this just keeps getting better and better. Now let’s just touch it up a little bit and we will be done.
