Comparison of Conserved RdRp Motifs in FgV3 and FgV4 with Other dsRNA Mycoviruses

This study presents a detailed comparison of eight conserved RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (RdRp) motifs found in the mycoviruses FgV3 and FgV4. By analyzing the amino acid sequences of these viruses alongside other dsRNA viruses in lower eukaryotes, we provide insights into the conservation of these essential motifs. The motifs are numbered I-VIII for clarity as defined in the accompanying literature. This analysis contributes to the understanding of viral evolution and functionality in dsRNA mycoviruses.
