What type of data do you collect and how do you acquire the data? • Re: Acceptance policy • Discipline: any • Format: any • Archival formats: tar; zip; BagIt; ResearchObjects • No active data storage – only archival storage • Size 2Gb; 1Tb; > 1Tb • Metadata only • How? Web form; Mediated deposit; [Harvesting md]; [DMP Online md]

  4. 3. What services do you provide? • Requirements gathering • Phase 1 basic; Phase 2 EPSRC; Phase 3 • DOI assignment • Archive service • Deposit, Search, Access • PURL • Landing page/record • Review • Non-technical (training, information etc) !! Work in Progress !!

How do you intend to interoperate with a global ecosystem of research data? • As much as possible! • ORA-Data as repository of last resort • Metadata in • Metadata out • Collaborators – other archives • Identifiers eg ORCID • Controlled vocabularies • Reporting eg RCUK, ERA • Standards compliance as appropriate • Subject specific metadata
