Different between jpeg and png • jpeg(Joint Photographic Experts Group ) • Lossy compression • Pros:small file size • Cons:distortion after compression • png(portable network graphics) • Lossless data compression • Pros:support transparent effects, record of creator and creating date • Cons:large in size

  6. Resolution of screen display are in range from 72 to 95 ppi Resolution of photograph printing are rage from 200 to 400ppi Length= Number of horizontal pixels resolution

  7. Vector Graphics • Composed of a number of objects • (shape,line or string of text) • Usually for simple chartsline arts and illustrations • Can be modify and rescale every details without affecting the quality • File size will not grow rapidly when more vector object are drawn
