Crosslinking NOTECHS with Lufthansa's Interpersonal Competences: A Semantic Analysis
This research paper analyzes how the 15 elements of the NOTECHS framework are represented within the 12 descriptors of Lufthansa’s Interpersonal Competences (LH-IPCs). Through semantic analysis, it explores the alignment between LH-IPCs and NOTECHS, focusing on elements, descriptors, and associated behaviors. The findings indicate that LH-IPCs comprehensively represent NOTECHS, with some attributes extending beyond its scope, particularly in communication and information management. The study outlines the implications for behavior assessment and Lufthansa’s evaluation methodologies.

Results of the Content Analysis: The elements and categories of NOTECHS are well represented in the Lufthansa’s Interpersonal Competences (LH-IPCs) LH-IPCs do not leave out any elements of NOTECHs Some descriptors of LH-IPC seem to go beyond NOTECHS, e.g. Information Transfer (IC) and Information Management (IC) The gap between Social and Cognitive Skills is less obvious in LH-IPCs than in NOTECHS.
