What is CISSP? • The international Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC) ², Inc. has created the CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional) certification. • CISSP Certification Requires… • To earn this certification you should have at least 5 years of experience in information security.

CISSP Exam • 250 multiple choice questions • 4 possible choices, 1 correct answer • Firstly remove 2 least probable answers • Now choose the correct answer from the remaining • Marking Scheme as Per the difficulty level • 5 questions are graded, 25 are NOT • Minimum passing score 70% • Some questions are “word problems” • 6 Hours to complete exam

Few Techniques for CISSP Exam • Don’t take stress, be calm • Read Questions carefully • Memorize important concepts or ideas and use them to derive the correct answer • Do not try to memorize everything. • Eliminate two least probabilities • Skip a problem and come back again if you are not at least 90% sure of your answer
