  2. Long-Term-Memory LTM‘s capacity is very large, and some studies suggest that all information ever encountered is stored in LTM, but that it is difficult to retrieve it (Penfield, 1959). LTM is not perfect because we forget information (Ebbinghaus, 1885), and new information may change the contents of LTM (Loftus & Palmer, 1974). © POSbase 2003
