  6. The monochromatic color scheme uses variations in lightness and saturation of a single color. It can be any color, and doesn’t have to just be black and white or greyscale.

  7. This scheme looks clean and elegant. Monochromatic colors go well together, producing a soothing effect.

  8. Monochromatic color schemes may be considered boring unless there is diversity within the design.
