  4. Surface Area The extent of a two dimensional surface within a boundary

  5. Exfoliation The process of rock layers being taken off little by little

  6. Frost Wedging When water gets in cracks of rocks and then splits the rock when the water freezes.

  7. Hydrolysis Hydrolysis is the decomposition of silicate materials.

  8. Oxidation The chemical reaction between oxygen and other materials.

  9. Acid Rain The result of pollutants being put into the air.

  10. Erosion The movement of materials from one place to another.

  11. Deposition The final stage of the erosion process.
