What is Brain Tumor Cancer & its Causes?

Brain Tumor cancer is one of the death cancer, as we know our body is controlled by the brain, whatever our body do or movement of body is all depend on a brain. If brain disturbs then body also disturb because it indirectly depends on a brain. Brain Tumor causes are not actual defined by cancer treatment centers but some risk factor of cancer is assume. Brain tumors are not easily treated but if cancer specialist found it at the early stage then its treatment are possible.   2. About Brain Tumor As we know Brain has controlling power of the body, every part of our body takes command to the brain then work. In another word, we say if brain disturbs then our body also disturb. In Brain Cancer, Brain and spinal cord are growth abnormal cells in the brain or outside of the brain but spread into the brain due to this brain cancer happen. If cancerous cells are growth into the brain then this types of cancer are known as Primary Brain Tumor. If cancerous cells are growth outside the brain and after spread, it comes into brain this types of cancer is known as Metastatic Brain Tumor. Some cancers that commonly spread to the brain include lung, colon, kidney and breast. Sometimes any abnormal cells are growth into the brain but they are not cancerous cells.

  3. Types of Brain Tumor There are more than 120 types of brain tumors. Tumors types are depends where it located and also depend grade to measure growth rate. Grades can be divide into 4 types. Most common primary brain tumors named for brain tissue types from which they developed but sometimes other doctors say another name of same tumors. Some types of Brain Tumors are: • Gliomas • Meningiomas • pituitary adenomas • Schwannomas • primitive neuroectodermal tumors • Spinal Cancer • Astrocytoma • CNS Lymphoma • Ependymoma • Glioblastoma • Medulloblastoma • Oligoastrocytoma • Oligodendroglioma

  4. Symptoms of Brain Tumor Symptoms of brain cancer depends on tumor size, type, location, extent, age and medical history of the patient. Some types of symptoms are common to other types of cancer but some are different to others. Few symptoms are shown easily but patient areignoreto think happening for other reason. Cancer can be occurany part of the brain. Few types of cancer doesn’t produce any types of symptoms.Common symptoms are • Headaches • Seizures • deep venous thrombosis • hearing loss • vision loss • Fatigue • sensory (touch) and motor • (movement control) loss • Depression • Behavioural and cognitive • endocrine dysfunction • Sleepiness • memory problems • personality changes

  5. Treatment of Brain Tumor Treatment of brain cancer is not same as another brain cancer survivor or treatment may be different to another patient same disease. Cancer specialist planned of treatment is based on several factors such as size, location, types, and grades of the tumor. Some main cancer treatment therapies are used these are: Radiation therapy: it is the modern technique to treat cancer with the help of beam of light and direct contact with infected areas of cancer, kill the cancer cells and stop to spread cells. Sometimes this therapy doesn't take more time and treatment is done within 2 hours. Chemotherapy: In Chemotherapy, drugs enter into the body and attack infected tumor and kill dividing cells of cancer. Surgery therapy: In this therapy, with the help of operation certified oncologist remove the tumor from the body. Targeted therapy: In this therapy, target the tumor with the help of any molecules to kill cancerous cells.

But cancer treatment centers also researched some risk factors of brain cancer these are: Age: Risk of brain tumor are increase as increasing age, mainly brain tumor are occurred to older person. But not say, children not get brain tumor. Exposure to radiation: People who have been exposed to a type of radiation called ionizing radiation have an increased risk of brain tumor. Rare time after treatment of radiation therapy patient suffers from the brain tumor. The family history of brain cancer: Researchers found in some cases brain cancer occur to family history of genetic syndromes that increase the risk of brain cancer.

  7. Side-Effect of Brain Tumor The side-effect is most common part of cancer treatment. Mainly side-effect occur during and after treatment. Cancer specialist always use precaution to avoid side-effect of cancer before treatments . Every treatment of cancer have different types of side-effect, some are early and some are late reactions after treatment. Some cases of chemotherapy side-effect are same as radiation therapy. Early Reaction: Skin and scalp thickening, and hair loss Nausea, vomiting, headaches Fatigue, drowsiness Altered sense of taste or smell Late Reaction: Permanent hair loss Tiredness Scarring of skin Damage of eye(s) Hearing loss
