Analog Clock • A device for measuring time by moving hands around a circle for showing hours, minutes, and sometimes seconds Example:
Digital Clock • A clock that shows time to the minute using digitsExample:
minute (min) • A unit used to measure short amounts of time; in one minute, the minute hand moves from one mark to the next. 60 seconds = 1 minute
Minute Hand • The long hand on a clock Example:
Hour • There are minutes in an hour.
Hour Hand • The short hand on a clock Example:
