Good morning! Today, I'll share insights about ancient Egyptian life, focusing on amulets, clothing, writing, and architecture. Amulets were worn for protection against bad spirits and to aid in everyday tasks. The Egyptians lived in mud-brick houses with small windows, slept on rooftops at night, and many children worked instead of attending school. Their clothing was designed for hot weather, with men wearing kilts and women in light gowns. They communicated using hieroglyphics, and even the mighty pyramids today show signs of age.   2. What did I make • Good morning , today I’m going to tell you about amulets. There are many amulets around the world. A lot people wear them. These amulets help you to get the bad spirits away by wearing it everywhere. • If you want some help at work it helps you out anywhere you want it to be.

  3. What I learned • I learnt: In ancient Egypt they lived in small square houses with mud bricks. The houses had small windows that didn’t let the hot of the sun in. At night the family slept on the roof.

  4. I learnt too: All over the desert all around the Nile Valley it was called “the Red Land”. It was where the Egyptians built their homes.

  5. I learnt too: Most of the children didn’t go to school but they went to work. In their free time they played some games like leapfrog.

  6. Clothing • The Egyptian people looked like these two people. • They made the clothes by themselves. • When the men went to work they wore kilts. Women wore gowns, with light material, because the weather was very hot.

  7. HIEROGLIPHS • The Ancient Egyptians used Hieroglyphics and each sign called a Hieroglyph. Hieroglyphs started in about 30,000 years ago. • Our Alphabet has 26 letters, they have more than 7,000.!!! Its hard to read.

  8. BES • Bes is a god in ancient Egypt. He had no temple of his own. Heis a part of a lion. He brought joy for the families. He doesn't look like he is bringing joy?

  9. Pyramids • The pyramids are famous in Ancient Egypt. Many people went to Egypt to see the pyramid. By now all the pyramids are falling down because these pyramids are very old.

  10. Nile river • The Nile is the high way of Ancient Egypt. All the Ancient Egyptians travel on the Nile because they don’t want to go in to the jungle.
