  1. German Sports • Germany has many sports teams. And many different sports are played there. The main sport played is soccer. But they also play American football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and they swim very often.

  2. German Food • Many common German foods are: sauerkraut, sweet mustard (susser senf), light smoked ham(kochschinken), black forest ham (schwarwalder schinken), potato pancakes (peibekiuchen kartoffel puffer).

  3. Berlin • Berlin is one of Germany’s most famous cities with one of the most famous and most well known histories. Most well known about its history is the Berlin wall with was torn down in 1989. Today Berlin’s population is 82,398,326.

  4. Munich • Munich is one of German’s largest and most populated cities. It has a population of 1,321,557. Munich is also where one of the famous Oktoberfest is held. Oktoberfest started with the wedding of the Bavarian Crowne Prince Ludwig and Princess Therese von Saxony-Hildburghausen. The wedding took place on October 12, 1810 in Munich, Germany. The wedding became the Oktoberfest.

  5. Hamburg • Hamburg is also a very large city. One of the largest with a population of 1,700,000.
