Our boat, aptly named "The 19th Century Smart Boat," features glasses that resemble reading a large book, inspired by the concept of glasses used in science experiments. After overcoming several challenges, including a non-functional propeller and issues with sinking due to heavy glasses, we made crucial modifications. We added a spoon propeller and two balloons for buoyancy, and utilized a rubber band for propulsion. This project showcases the transformation of gravitational energy into motion, resulting in an engaging and educational experience.

About our Boat Our boat is called The 19Th. Century Smart Boat because it wears glasses like it’s reading a large book. We got the name idea from the glasses for the baking soda and vinegar. The idea was the same way as the name, but Rishi was the one to think of the idea of the boat’s name.
Changes we made/Problems we had • Added a spoon propeller • Added two balloons to prevent sinking • Added a rubber band to move propeller (spoon) • Didn`t move/no energy transfers • Sank/glasses too heavy
