"He will rule them with an iron scepter." He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty.

  3. How awful this time will be… and the sad fact is… Rev 9:6 /20-21 Rev. 16:9, 11, 21

  4. Luke 21:20-28 20 "When you see Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, you will know that its desolation is near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let those in the city get out, and let those in the country not enter the city. 22For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written. 23 How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! There will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people. 24 They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations.Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. 25"There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken. 27 At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.28 When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near."

  5. 3 ‘T’s relating to End-time Translation of the Church (Rapture) Tribulation Triumphant Return of Christ

  6. Zech 14:1-5 (compare Acts 1:9-12) 1A day of the LORD is coming, Jerusalem, when your possessions will be plundered and divided up within your very walls. 2I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women ravished. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city.3 Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights on a day of battle. 4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south.5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake [a] in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him.

  7. Mount of Olives

  8. Triumphant Return of Christ (Rev. 19:11-19) 11I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. 12His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. 13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.14The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.15Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. "He will rule them with an iron scepter."[a] He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:      KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.17And I saw an angel standing in the sun, who cried in a loud voice to all the birds flying in midair, "Come, gather together for the great supper of God, 18so that you may eat the flesh of kings, generals, and mighty men, of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, small and great." 19Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to make war against the rider on the horse and his army.

  9. Rev. 16:13-16Battle of Armageddon 13 Then I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the great day of God Almighty.15 "Look, I come like a thief! Blessed are those who stay awake and keep their clothes on, so that they may not go naked and be shamefully exposed." 16Then they gathered the kings together to the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.

  10. Upon Christ’s Return 10 "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son.11 On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be great, like the weeping of Hadad Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo. 12 The land will mourn, each clan by itself, with their wives by themselves… - Zechariah 12:10-12

  11. Mashiach (Messiah)common thoughts from orthodox Jews – by Rabbi Mechon Mamre The term "mashiach" literally means the anointed one, and refers to the ancient practice of anointing kings with oil when they took the throne.  The mashiach is the one who will be anointed as king in the Latter Days.  He will be the very real king of a very real Torah government in the Land of Israel: not some "spiritual" or "symbolic" king in Israel, as some have mistakenly thought (especially Christians)…

  12. What Will the Mashiach Do (according to Orthodox Jews)? • Before the time of the mashiach, there will be war and great suffering (Ezekiel 38,16).  • Then the mashiach will bring about the political and spiritual redemption of the Jewish people by bringing all Jews outside Israel back to Israel, and restoring Jerusalem (Isaiah 11,11-12; Jeremiah 23,8; 30,3; Hosea 3,4-5).  • He will establish a Torah government in Israel that will be the center of all world government, both for Jews and Gentiles (Isaiah 2,2-4; 11,10; 42,1).  • He will rebuild the Temple and reestablish its worship (Jeremiah 33,18).  • He will restore the religious court system of Israel, if it had not already been reestablished before him, and establish the Torah as the law of the land (Jeremiah 33,15).

  13. Millennium • Beast & False Prophet thrown into lake of fire (Rev. 19:20) • Satan is bound and thrown into bottomless pit (Rev. 20:3) • Those who join forces (who had the mark of the beast were killed) (Rev 19:21) • Christ will reign as King and Lord on earth, along with those who are with Him. (Rev. 20:6; Rev 17:14) • Christ will reign as the promised/fulfilled Messiah of the Jew (Is 11:10-12) • Those who die during the tribulation will also came to life, and reign with Christ. (Rev.20:4) • A state without the outward sinful influence (Rev. 20:3) • A state of paradise restore on earth (Is 65:18-25/Zech 14:16-21)

  14. Post Millennium Rev. 20:7-15 Many of Man’s hearts in those days will still be sinful (seeks not of God). Satan will be release from his prison one more time (v7) He will deceive the nations from 4 corners (a countless number) to wage one final war. (v8-9) God will defeat Satan once for all, and throw him into lake of fire forever. (v10) A great white throne judgment (v11-15) all the ungodly dead are raised to life they are judge according to the books they’ll then be justifiably cast into the lake of fire also. God will usher in an eternal new heaven and new earth (Rev. 21)

  15. What can we take from the Christ’s Return & His millennial Reign? YES, Christ will return, It’ll be a time when all knees are bow, and tongue confess that Jesus is Lord (Phil 2:9-11). As a believer we must never lose the sight of this hope. He will reign as the King of kings and Lord of lords – but even before He returns, let us never fail to give Him the place of supremacy in our lives (Col 1:18). Ultimately Christ will Return and He will Reign. The question for each one of us: Are we truly looking and eagerly anticipating His return? What will He find us doing when He returns?? Will it be in joy or in dread for each one of us when He comes??? Let our prayers echo Maranatha! Come, O Lord! (I Cor. 16:22; Rev.22:20)
