  1. Question 4 Q4: Who would be the audience for your media product?

Who I think our target audience is I think my target audience for my film is around the age of 15 to 30, this is because our narrative as a thriller can be complex to understand and may not appeal to younger people than 15. this film can attract female and male audiences as we have a good sense of balance in what could attract both genders, either the strong driven narrative or a relatable character. I don't think that there is a limit to our audience, I think it will be eye-catching for both young and older people, and certain elements of the film will make them want to see the film a second time. The style of our film is mysterious, and dark, most of our content in it makes you wonder what's going to happen next, it keeps you on the edge of your seat as there is a never ending climax to the story. With this said I think that Silence of the lambs is similar to ours as it has the same tension and psycho dominant male character and is always over smartening the vulnerable innocent female character, which fits our two characters in our film.

  3. Meet Mark Thompson Mark Thompson is 17 years old, and lives in central London. He likes dark clothing, and his favourite colours are black and blue. He Wears laid back clothing like, baggy shirts and normal cut jeans. He enjoys playing football with friends, and on the weekends he plays, harry Potter, Skyrim, Resident Evil and Silent Hill on his Ps3. when he has time he likes watching Doctor who, Sherlock Holmes and CSI on the television. His favourite type of music is, rock and R&B, he doesn't really like pop. And finally he loves watching movies like, Scream, James bond, Taken, Disturbia, Mission Impossible, The Dark Knight, Inception, The Silence Of The Lambs, Taxi Driver and Die Hard. I think this male would be attracted to our film because, its similar to what he likes in his day to day life. Also it will appeal to him as he likes to play dark challenging games like Resident Evil. With this said I think our film would fit with his personality as it has a complex and unsettling narrative which will keep him on the edge of his seat.
