  4. How polar bears look like Polar bears have big paws. They also weigh 700 to 1,600 pounds. polar live in the arctic and they hunt for seals for there food. Polar bears have thick white fur. They are starving because they can’t hunt. Montgomery County Public Schools Grade 3 Integrated Curriculum 2011

  5. How can we help? I will talk to the government about cutting down the forests. You can adopt a polar bear by buying an adoption kit. You get a certificate, a photo and a stuffed bear. You can make a donation every month. Montgomery County Public Schools Grade 3 Integrated Curriculum 2011

  6. What action will you take? I will Play less video games. I will Walk or ride a bike. I will use less water during showers and brushing water. You can change your light bulbs. Montgomery County Public Schools Grade 3 Integrated Curriculum 2011

  7. Why are they being endangered? Carbon dioxide is melting the ice. Polar bears need ice to find shelter and food. People are cutting trees down and carbon dioxide comes. The climate keeps getting warmer and warmer. There are higher temperatures that are melting the ice Montgomery County Public Schools Grade 3 Integrated Curriculum 2011
