  2. Riordan Manufacturing is a global plastics manufacture with around 550 employees, Riordan annual earnings is project to be 46 million. Riordan Manufacturing is owned by Riordan Industries, a fortune 1000 company based in San Jose California with more than 1 billion in revenues. Riordan Manufacturing has recently placed a service request for all locations to review existing business systems. Riordan Manufacturing

Existing System Concerns: • All locations use different systems • Reports sent from Michigan and Georgia to the corporate office must be manually entered or reformatted to match the correct accounting codes. • The labor intensive and extra time of having to consolidate information from the other three locations. • Proposed Systems: • Implementing of EDI, Bar Code Reading, • Executive Decision Support System (EDDS) in the (Georgia, Michigan, and California locations Finance & Accounting Systems

  4. Current Sales & Marketing • Records are not centrally located • Difficult to access documents • Agents in the field do not have access to information • Mobile access is not available • Historical data not readily available • Slow sales data processing • Sales marketing data not accessible during sales outside work place • Not a flexible system to access information during business travel • New IT security levels need to be implemented • Sales needs new IT System

Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) to consolidate the following reports. • Historical Sales; Dates (order, delivery, and payments), Unit and Dollar amounts of each product, Sales by customer (price paid, cost, margin, and discounts) • Past Marketing Research, Marketing Plans, and Design Awards • Sales Database • Production Records • Profit and Loss Statements Proposed Sales & Marketing System
