DEPORTE PARA TODOS Según Ortí (2004 ) afirma: “El deporte Para Todos es la máxima participación de las personas en una actividad deportiva fomentando determinados valores como la satisfacción por la práctica, bienestar, relación social, etc., los cuales, en muchas ocasiones no están integrado dentro de la concepción del deporte de rendimiento”. (p. 23). CARACTERÍSTICAS • Según Miranda y Camerino (1996: 281 – 282) se caracteriza por: • Búsqueda continua de recreación y socialización. • Se pueden modificar las reglas según sea la necesidad. • Se adapta la infraestructura y los materiales a los espacios utilizados. • Utilidad del medio material, entre otros.

Reconocido por C.O.I. • UNIÓN EUROPEA DE DEPORTE PARA TODOS (U.E.S.p.T). Creada en 1987 • ASOCIACIÓN ESPAÑOLA DE DEPORTE PARA TODOS (A.E.D.p.T). Creada 1981 en La Curuña. • CONSEJOS INTERNACIONAL DE CIENCIAS Y EDUCACIÓN FÍSICA (I.C.S.S.P.C) en 1978.
