Nike's Reuse-A-Shoe program encourages people to recycle old athletic shoes and LIVESTRONG wristbands. Since 1990, they've collected over 25 million shoes, repurposing them into sports surfaces such as soccer and football fields, gym flooring, running tracks, and playgrounds. You can participate by dropping off any brand of athletic shoes (excluding metal, cleats, damp or wet shoes, sandals, and other types of bands) at your local Nike store. Join Nike in promoting sustainability and building safer, play-friendly environments.
