  4. ADJECTIVES & ADVERBS • What is an ADJECTIVE? • It’s a word that describes a NOUN • BIG • FAST CAR • EXPENSIVE

  5. ADJECTIVES & ADVERBS • What is an ADVERB? • It’s a word that describes a VERB. • Speak FAST • Walk SLOWLY

  6. ADJECTIVES & ADVERBS • DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOOD-WELL • You speak English well (adverb) • It’s a very good activity. You read very well. • Your English is good (adjective)

  7. SUPERLATIVES + PRESENT PERFECT • We use Present Perfect (I have done) after a Superlative: • What’s the most important decision you’ve ever made? • This was the best holiday I’ve had for a long time

  8. Specifying • Could you speak a bit more slowly? (a little more slowly) • Let’s go by car. It’s much cheaper. ( a lot cheaper) A bit A little Much A lot
