  2. Line: an image that goes from one point to another. It can be horizontal, vertical, wobbly etc. • Used to define shape, contours, and outlines, also used to show mass and volume. Line

  3. Tone: sets the mood of the picture • Can give solubility volume and weight to an image. Tone

  4. Colour: The property owned by an object of producing different sensations to the eye as a result of the way it reflects light. • Shows emotion, temperature, as well as epicness. COLOUR

  5. The feel, appearance, or consistency of a picture • When the shape of something reminds you of something Texture

  6. The form or appearance that Someone or something has. • Can suggest movement or emotion Shape

  7. The visible shape or configuration of Something • gives images 3-D Characteristics as well as side lighting and shadow Form

  8. Size: how big something is • Size can give space, make it appear closer or larger etc. Size

  9. Value: lightness or darkness of a certain area • Value: shows tone and emotion Value

  10. Balance: A large shape close to the center can be balanced by a small shape close to the edge. • Balance: shows size and gives a state of equalized tension Balance

  11. When something is significantly different from something else. • Gives a picture Variety as well as makes it look more lively Contrast

  12. Emphasis makes curtain parts of an image stand out more then others • Directs our eyes and attention to one part of the picture Emphasis

  13. Proportion: refers to the relative size and scale of a picture • Gives size to an object in a picture as well as a scale size Proportion

  14. Repeating the different visual aids like colour, line, texture etc. • Adds shows repetition and gives an interesting illusion Pattern

  15. A colour or grey tone that changes in density • Gives pictures emotion and defines shapes Gradient
