  2. MECANISMOS DE FACILITAÇÃO NEGAR: Que o problema básico seja o beber / usar: - Apoiar as racionalizações do dependente; - Assumir a culpa pelo beber / uso. EVITAR: Os problemas que “poderiam” levar o dependente a beber / usar: - Deixar de discutir o problema. MINIMIZAR: Os problemas associados com o beber / uso.

  3. MECANISMOS DE FACILITAÇÃO • JUSTIFICAR: • O beber / uso. • PROTEGER: • O dependente das conseqüências naturais do seu beber / uso: • - Encobrir suas faltas e atrasos. • - Recusar convites. • - Assumir finanças e outras responsabilidades.

  4. MECANISMOS DE FACILITAÇÃO CONTROLAR: - Beber / usar junto com o dependente - Comprar suas bebidas / drogas - Esvaziar garrafas, jogar fora as drogas - Chorar, agredir, ameaçar, suplicar. AGUARDAR: Pacientemente que as coisas melhorem.
