  6. The Interview-Learning Organization Deputy Chancellor Hunt • Question: Do you believe learning is the key competency required by Central Texas College (CTC) to survive and thrive in this knowledge economy where conducting business changes quickly? Why or why not? • Answer: Absolutely!!

  7. The Interview-Learning Organization Deputy Chancellor Hunt • Question: How does CTC provide learning for its employees and how does it spread that knowledge throughout the organization? • Answer: CTC spreads learning through a variety of methods.

  8. The Interview-Learning Organization Deputy Chancellor Hunt • Question: Explain how learning at CTC provides the catalyst and intellectual resources to create a sustainable competitive advantage? • Answer: Constant learning.

  9. The Interview-Learning Organization Deputy Chancellor Hunt • Question: Does CTC learn by its people within the organization? If so how? • Answer: Of course CTC learns from its people.

  10. The Interview-Learning Organization Deputy Chancellor Hunt • Question: Are employees attitudes reflected in the formal and informal rules that govern the organization’s (CTC) behavior? • Answer: Largely but not completely.

  11. The Interview-Learning Organization Deputy Chancellor Hunt • Question: How important is it to the organization to spend money on training hours per employee? • Answer: It is vitally important.

  12. The Interview-Learning Organization Deputy Chancellor Hunt • Question: Is CTC continually expanding its capacity to create its future by learning new ways of doing things? • Answer: Absolutely.

  13. The Interview-Learning Organization Deputy Chancellor Hunt • Question: How is CTC’s involvement of being in a continuous process of forgetting old ways of doing things? • Answer: I’m not sure that forgetting old ways of doing things is always (or even often) the best practice.

  14. The Interview-Learning Organization Deputy Chancellor Hunt • Question: Would you consider CTC a learning environment where people can draw upon resources to make sense out of things and construct meaningful solutions to problems? • Answer: YES!!

  17. Central Texas College Organizational Character Index Deputy Chancellor John Hunt’s result of OCI My result of OCI ESTJ ESFJ 1 2 Extroverted, Sensing, Thinking, and Judging. Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, and Judging Difference is that,I view that the organization depends on impersonal procedures and principles. Mr. Hunt views that the organization reaches conclusions on the basis of values and beliefs. The difference in power in the organization forms our views.
