  2. Starter task – chocolate tasting! While you eat a piece of chocolate write down 3 things which are good about this chocolate – think about the wrapper and the company as well as the chocolate

  3. How is chocolate made? Watch the slide show and write down the processes involved from growing cocoa to the production of chocolate.

  5. What do we mean by fair trade? 1. Watch the film ‘Spilling the beans’ to see how farmers lives can be affected by fair trade. 2. Design a fairtrade chocolate wrapper which promotes the issue of fairtrade and makes this appealing to the consumer.

  6. Plenary – more chocolate tasting!! Now eat a piece of fair trade chocolate and think about how the lives of cocoa farmers in Ghana have been improved PLEASE BUY FAIR TRADE PRODUCTS!!
