  2. ABOUT US: The junior-high school in Radziejowice is a new school. It has existed since 2006. There are 114students, who are taught by 22 teachers. Children in our school learn two foreign languages: Englishand German. Our Principal : Krystyna Szymańska

  3. OUR VILLAGE Radziejowice is located 40 kilometres far away from Warsaw. The main point of this village is thePalace, which was the property of a very rich Polish noble family.

  4. OUR PATRON The patron of our school is Edward Krasiński – the last owner of Radziejowice and the Palace. Hewas well known as a social and cultural activist and the patron of the art.

  5. After Second World War the Palace became the property of the Ministry of Culture and NationalHeritage. Our school cooperates very closely with the Palace by organising some concerts, exhibitionsand other cultural events.

  6. OUR MISSION The mission of Edward Krasinski Junior High Schoolis to ensure that each student achieves optimal academic and personal potential by providing a safe and nurturing environment, which builds a strong foundation for character development and lifelong learning; utilizing best educational practices to engage each student in a culturally rich and challenging curriculum; and fostering partnerships with families and the community.

  11. Activities in the local community For the last three years, our students have been engaged in helping intellectually disabled people from local nursing home. They voluntarily visit the residents to help them and to participate in theirs activities.

  13. About Mary • Mary is an 11-year-old girl from Africa. She was born on 8th January, 2001. She lives in the orphanage. Mary is the fifth and the youngest child in the family. • Mary’s mum died, but a sick grandmother takes care of her. Mary as a child had a lot of painful experiences - her brother tried to burn her, because she was a burden to the family. • Now, Mary is a very diligent student in 5th grade. She is extremely well liked by her peers. • Mary has regular contact with the community of our school - the girl sends us letters, cards, greetings, in which she writes about her life.
