  3. Other properties of the moon 1.What is its  radius ? The radius of the moon is 1,738 km 2 What is the distance from the Earth to Moon ? The distance from the earth to Moon is 384, 000 K.m . ( 350,000) Km 3. What is the radius of the sun ? The radius of the sun is 696 , 000 km .

  9. Eclipse 1. What does an eclipse mean ? It means disappearance / in shadow . 2. Why does the sun disappear duringdaylight ? (a solar eclipse ) Because the Moon passes between the sun and the Earth .
