  2. Better Together:A worshipping community How lovely is your dwelling-place, O Lord Almighty!  My soul yearns, even faints, for the courts of the Lord; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

  3. Better Together:A worshipping community Prayer together What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the Lord our God is near us whenever we pray to him? (Deut. 4:7) They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers. (Acts 1:14) How can our ‘praying together’ in church life develop?

  4. Better Together:A worshipping community Praise together Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord (Eph 5:19) What hinders my praise? What does our body language and style of worship say about it?

  5. Better Together:A worshipping community Give thanks together Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ (Eph 5:20) Am I thankful to God – especially when things are tough? How can I show it in the church community?

  6. Better Together:A worshipping community Give together On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made (1 Cor 16:2). What does my giving, money and otherwise, say of me?

  7. Better Together:A worshipping community Telling together what we have heard and known… we will tell the next generation the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord, How will we speak to the next generation?
