Sentence Complexity • Simple sentences • We will play our rivals today. • Timmy is such a forgetful player. • Compounds within simple sentences • Timmy forgot his cleats and shin guards again! • John and Ron will play forward. • John shot and scored the first point. • The goalie dove for the ball but missed.
