Why did it take us so long?! • This is an information-laden document derived from many documents published over the past 11 years. It is not easy to fit them together into a single publication with a good logical flow. • Several studies presented here evolved/improved over the past 3 years. They had to be incorporated into the draft along the way. • A good fraction of the editors were SPLs, MPCs, ACEs, OpsHead, OpsMan etc. up to Sep. 2011 … and then some morphed into Higgs hunters. • Editors / contributors graduated and/or moved away from CDF. • The fine print: We had our share of laziness too! Summary • The drafts and GP webpage is at: • http://www-cdfonline.fnal.gov/svx/OpsNIM/ • After a long internal scrutiny by many experts a draft is ready for submission to NIM A, after a 48 hours waiting period. • We plan to follow up our radiation aging study with a more detailed and dedicated paper in future including results from studies using the annealing data we took for a month after the Run II final shutdown.
