Motives for Being Saved • Promise of a better hope, Acts 26:6-8, Col 1:3-6, 2 Cor 4:16-5:2 • Promise of forgiveness of sins, Acts 26:17-18, 2:38 • Warning of eternal punishment, Rom 5:9, Eph 2:1-3 • The same Bible which tells of a blessed hope of salvation in Heaven, teaches that there is also a most terrible and horrible destiny for the lost in Hell.

Death Comes in One Form or Another • Defined: SeparationJas 2:26, Col 3:5, Eph 2:1 w/ Isa 59:1-2 • All will experience a death, Heb 9:27 • Die in the flesh,1 Cor 15:35-38, 42 • Living will be changed,1 Th 4:15-17,1 Cor 15:50-53, 2 Cor 5:1-4, 1 John 3:2 • Righteous & Unrighteous will be raisedJohn 5:28-29 • At the resurrection, all will be changed into bodies suited for their eternal destination.

Romans 2:5-11Disobedient 5 But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God, 6 who "will render to each one according to his deeds": 8 to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness--indignation and wrath, 9 tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek; 11 For there is no partiality with God.

And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.” What is the doctrine the form of which they obeyed? Rom 6:3-11 “we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.”

  9. HEAVEN IS FOR THOSE WHO OBEY HELL IS FOR THOSE WHO DON’T IF YOU DIED TONIGHT TO WHICH PLACE WOULD YOU GO IN JUDGMENT?
