  2. De Maas (La Meuse) kronkelt door de franse Ardennes via Verdun en Charleville-Mézières en komt bij Givet in België. Ze stroomt vervolgens in noordelijke richting langs Dinant, Namen en Luik om via Nederlands Limburg en Brabant uit te stromen in de rivierendelta bij Rotterdam. Maar voorlopig houdt deze presentatie op in het mooie witte stadje Thorn.
