Team 70 has embarked on an ambitious electric vehicle project to address rising gas prices and reduce dependency on foreign oil. Our team members include Brock Barras, Josh Day, Matt Griffin, Andrew Phegley, Nathan Smith, and Alex Turek. The project aims to deliver a fully functional electric vehicle featuring a unique drive system powered by Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries, dual 30HP induction motors, and an advanced battery management system. With an estimated project cost of $23,000, we anticipate completion by mid-March, enabling sustainable and efficient transportation solutions.
