  2. There are three different types of rocks igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary. Igneous rocks are types of rocks that are formed by lava. Metamorphic rocks are rocks that change over years and long periods of time. Sedimentary rocks are formed by sediments that are pushed together for a long time. Igneous rock Sedimentary rock Any rock can be metamorphic.

  3. The Rock cycle Every rock has been through the rock cycle and through the rock cycle you might have to go through different forms of a rock like the forms on the last page.

  4. Fun Facts To have a rock you must have atoms and minerals. Some atoms in minerals are arranged in a regular pattern that can make some pretty minerals, for example a diamond. There are also many other kinds of atoms . The atoms in your pencil are the same as the atoms in a diamond. Those kind of atoms are called carbon, but the way they are arranged makes them totally different. The Hope Diamond
