  1. ANZAC Day Gallipoli Dawn Service ANZAC Day ANZAC Day on the 25th of April at Gallipoli can be an emotive experience that will regularly provoke latent emotions of sadness, but also of overcoming adversity and many similar emotions all of which would be contrasting to your friends. Whatever you feel about the ANZAC Day Commemorations, were sure it’s ok to assume that those feelings will be compelling. The ANZACS were mostly volunteers in the Australian and New Zealand Army Corps formed initially as a support contingent to the British as they opposed the tyrannical forces of the Quadruple Alliance in military enagagement throughout western Europe. ANZAC Day is a National Day of recognition in Australia and New Zealand that pays respect to the bravemilitary men and women who took part in any war, any peacekeeping operations and/or any conflicts on behalf of their relative countries. The April 25th ANZAC Day commemorations in Turkey each year are held, of course, on April 25th, and each year the Australian and New Zealand governments take turns in running the services. Both Australias and New Zealands governments do a brilliant job of imposing their own personality to the Gallipoli Dawn Service on ANZAC Day. ANZAC Day Tours Touring Turkey for ANZAC remembrance services can be a worrisome undertaking for the unaccustomed traveller. The most recommended advice here is to travel with a recommended tour operator who has plenty of experience at the ANZAC Day dawn service and has some goodcommendations from other tourists that have attended the Gallipoli ANZAC Day themselves! When visiting the sombre beaches of the Gallipoli peninsula one cannot possibly imagine the horror like scenes that were presented to the ANZACS early last century in 1915. The terrain that presented itself to those soldiers must’ve seemed daunting back during the Allies landings on APRIL twenty-fifth. Numbers on how many casualties were suffered to the ANZACS during the Gallipoli War are not known exactly but the data given up by the Australian and New Zealand Governments is likely quite accurate with near to 11500 ANZAC dead and over 36000 wounded. Today Australians and New Zealanders continue to remember ANZAC Day and it holds a very special of our hearts that will be forever grateful in remembrance to our glorious soldiers and civilians who’ve sacrificed for us, the public, somewhere on our world. LEST WE FORGET!
