They'll support your group and have constant contact with our EF headquarters in Boston. • 24/7 emergency supportWe're never out of reach with 24/7 emergency support. Our offices are ready for any situation, at any time. • Professional overnight securityWe provide professional overnight security to make sure our travelers are safe and sound throughout the night (and staying in their rooms). • Illness and Accident CoverageEveryone on tour is covered with our Illness and Accident Coverage—protecting them from the unexpected.

Tour Itinerary- tentative • Day 1: • Learn about the Smithsonian Institution during an introduction by your tour director • Visit your choice of the Smithsonian’s museums, which may include: • National Air and Space Museum • National Museum of Natural History • National Museum of African Art • National Museum of American History • Smithsonian American Art Museum • National Portrait Gallery • Take a night tour of Washington: • Lincoln Memorial • WWII Memorial • Korean War Veterans Memorial • Vietnam Veterans Memorial

  6. Tour Itinerary -tentative • Day 2: • Holocaust Museum visit • Travel to Harper’s Ferry and Antietam • Visit Harper’s Ferry Historical Park • Visit Antietam National Battlefield, site of the Civil War’s deadliest single day

  7. Tour Itinerary- Tentative • Day 3: • Visit Gettysburg Cemetery • Take a guided tour of Gettysburg National Military Park • Visit the Gettysburg Museum and Visitor Center • Visit the Cyclorama Experience • Travel to Washington, D.C. • Visit Ford’s Theatre and Petersen House

Day 4: • Take a guided tour of Washington • Arlington National Cemetery • Marine Corps War Memorial • Washington Monument • Vietnam Veterans Memorial • FDR Memorial • Make a Photo Stop at the White House • Visit Mount Vernon • Enjoy an evening activity (ex: ghost tour, possible play at the Kennedy Center)

  9. Day 5: • Visit Capitol Hill • U.S. Capitol and Visitor Center • U.S. Supreme Court • Library of Congress • Visit the National Archives • Depart for home!

  10. How much does it cost? • Current cost (through the end of September): • $1799 ($1800- $1 we will reimburse account for Holocaust Museum after enrollment is closed) • Travel Insurance available for $149

  11. Pricing Details • Program Price ¹$1,744 • Includes: • US Holocaust Memorial Museum $1 (will be refunded) • Lunch - 5 Day Tour $55 • Peace Of Mind *Free • Total for Students:  $1,800 • 8 monthly payments of $243/month

What does it include? • Round-trip airfare • Clean and safe hotel rooms • Breakfast lunch and dinner daily (as itinerary specifies) • 5 lunches • Full time tour director • Sightseeing tours led by licensed expert guides • Air-conditioned motor coach • EF Student Travel backpack, luggage tag and travel ID badge • Illness and accident coverage • Bus driver and tour director gratuities

Illness and Accident Coverage (included in your Program Fee) • Hospital and doctors' fees and medical transportation for illnesses or injury sustained on tour** • Travel and accommodation expenses for two family members to be with you in the event of a life-threatening illness** • Combined coverage up to $15,000 for above situations** • **Some restrictions apply. Pre-Tour Cancellation Coverage • The ability to cancel at any time for a full refund* • The ability to cancel for any reason for a full refund* • No penalties or restrictions • Participants should enroll in the Anytime Protection Plan upon tour enrollment. Travelers already enrolled on tour can sign up for the Anytime Protection Plan by calling our Traveler Support Team at 1.888.333.9756.*Full refund includes all monies paid on the cancelled account, minus any Non-Refundable Fees.

  15. Payment Options • Pay in FullPay the full tour balance at the time of enrollment with your Visa or MasterCard, ATM/debit card and personal check. • Automatic Payment PlanPayments are automatically deducted from your bank account based on your preferred monthly or bi-weekly schedule. Accepted payment methods include ATM/debit card and checking account, only. • Manual Payment PlanMake less frequent payments according to EF’s Manual Payment Plan Schedule. You’ll receive invoices and can pay with Visa or MasterCard, ATM/debit card and personal checks. A $40 Plan Fee Plan Fee is applied if traveling to tour by plane and a $20 Plan Fee is applied if traveling to tour by bus.

  16. EF fundraising/scholarship Opportunities • Online GivingRaise funds to pay for your tour with a personalized online Giving Page. Friends and family can make secure online contributions to your individual Giving Page and have it applied directly to your tour balance. • Explorer ScholarshipEvery year EF awards $30,000 to deserving travelers through this needs-based scholarship. It’s just part of their commitment to making educational travel affordable for more students. For scholarship details or to apply, check the EF Website.

Fundraising we offer • Scrip Cards- • Orders placed monthly during school year • no extra cost to you: ($100 gift card costs $100) • Hundreds of retailers • Grocery Bagging • 3 hour shifts- collect trips for group • Tips averaged over several shifts for fairness • Averages $40-50 per shift • All fundraising funds must go through school account and will be applied to your EF account quarterly.

  18. Limited Spots /Price Increases • There are 27 students signed up, and at 49 students we will go to a wait list. A second bus is not guaranteed. If you want to assure your child a spot on the tour, we recommend enrolling right away. • Enrolling by the end of September will ensure you the current price. In October, the price is expected to go up $50 to $75.

How do I enroll? • Use the link on our webpage (Washington DC Trip 2015) under “About NRMS” • Go directly to the EF Expl0re America and enter the tour number on your folder • Call 1-888-333-9756 and speak with a customer service representative • Fill out and send in the registration form in the booklet in your folder.
