  18. Conclusies • De resultaten zijn in overeenstemming met die van andere grote centra • De resultaten van de transplantaties bij CF komen overeen met die van New Castle en beinvloeden onze resultaten niet • Transplanteren vanuit hoog urgentie heeft geen effect op de resultaten

Non heartbeating donoren.Maastricht criteria 1995 • Categorie I : overleden bij aankomst in het ziekenhuis • Categorie II : acuut overleden, al dan niet na poging tot reanimatie • Categorie III : spoedig verwacht overlijden Veel patiënten met een ernstig neurologisch beeld, die echter niet voldoen aan de criteria voor hersendood. • Categorie IV : hartstilstand bij een heart-beating donor

Nivel: Nederland heeft weinig donoren door gering aantal verkeersslachtoffers • Aantal transplantaties UMCU/AZN 2002-2008: 129 LTX • 18 verkeersslachtoffers als donor • Verkeersslachtoffers België:Nederland = 2:1 • Bij gelijk aantal verkeersslachtoffers als in Belgie: 147 LTX • 18 verkeersslachtoffers als donor extra • Aantal transplantaties België:Nederland = 2,34:1 • Bij gelijk aantal transplantaties als in België: 2,34X129=302 LTX • Gat: 302-147= 155 transplantaties.
