  2. Rhode Island’s State song Hope State mottoes may be said to reflect the character and beliefs of the citizens of the state, or more accurately, the citizens of the state when they were adopted. State mottoes can help us gain insight into the history of a state.

  3. This is the Symbol of Rhode Island. The stars on Rhode islands flag stand for the original 13 colonies. The anchor is a seal for the state. The word HOPE comes from the state motto.

  4. State Capital Providence-The Largest city. Providence-Is the State capital of Rhode islands. Providence-Is the representing city of Rhode island.

  5. The highest point in Rhode Island. Jerimoth Hill is the highest point in Rhode Island standing at 812 (247miles) above sea level.

  6. Animal. The state animal is Rhode island red(a type of chicken). The Rhode island red is the animal for the state because it is an Excellent Farm bird. Facts: It weighs 6-8 ½ pounds, And it lays Brown eggs.

  7. State flower The state flower is the Violet. The Violet inspires Christianity in Rhode island. It associates with Mary and modesty.

  8. Brick market Inside Rhode Island’s brick market. The brick market is a market with a British style.
