  1. 2TRANSCENDWeekly Status Meetings August 8, 2012 2:00 pm – 3:00 PM Eve Shalley Center for Bioinformatics and Information Technology, NCI Sarah Davis UCSF

  2. Status Update • Work Package • Status • caCIS / EHR Integration • Integration approach confirmed; security approach confirmed, waiting for details • iHub • Development in progress; new format for integration to be CDA; mapping work approved; prototype delivered • caAERS • Development in progress; safety signaling completed • caIntegrator & caArray • Final versions released for UAT; deployment releases on July 17 • Imaging / NBIA • UCSF to use NCI instance; accounts to be provided in September after upgrade • caTissue • Bugs reviewed, determined to be minimal impact on I-SPY2; RC3 to be deployed once AppScan issues are resolved. • Systems • CAS and OpenDS installed; agreement on UCSF hosting of Q/A integration environment.

  3. Agreements / Action Items from Previous Meetings • Technical approaches for integration • Meeting with Tom resolved CAS approach • Need details (handshake parameters, tunneling approach, etc) • It was decided a meeting would be best to discuss these details • THE.Force Data Model received – review in-progress • New UCSF Project Plan received, update in-process • Integration Test Environment – set-up progress • UAT issues for caArray and caIntegrator • Dynamic extension created • To be demo’d

  4. Team Questions • CDA Mapping – Issuing/assigning authority for MRNs (local institutions/hospitals) and Subject Ids • Each study site has their own OIDs; this could be used to differentiate the elements • CDA Mapping – Separate CDA sample files for specimens and consent • UCSF expects to send consent and biospecimen separately from THE.Force • CDA Mapping - Specimen Site - Has ICD-10 been finalized as the code system for this? • There is currently no definitive answer for this yet • CDA Mapping – Confirmation of last two emails sent for review; do you have any responses? • It looks good; the one issue UCSF is still reviewing is the off study/final issue. UCSF would like to first ensure a role in the lab will be able to unclose, enter collection, and reclose the patient within caTissue first • caCIS – Maximum number of concurrent document sharing requests that can be originated from THE Force • Currently the total users is around 150; the user group allowed to share clinical notes would be maybe 5 per study (on the high side) • Subject Registration CDA Mapping  and sample document, and HL7v2 MDM Mapping Document • Sent for review – feedback needed as soon as possible
