  3. ATP Is a “charged” battery for a cell Adenosine Triphosphate Stores energy ADP Is an “uncharged” battery for a cell Adenosine Diphosphate releases energy

  4. ATP and ADP are Biomolecules (Nucleic Acid)! Nitrogen Base Phosphate Sugar Nucleotide

  6. ATP/ADP cycle ENERGY! All of the energy is stored between the 2nd and the 3rd phosphate of ATP

  7. ATP/ADP cycle ENERGY!! To release energy break off the 3rd phosphate ENERGY!! To store energy add a 3rd phosphate
