  2. The Pieces • FEMs • ROCs • Transition Cards • Passthrough Backplanes • Digital Backplanes • Crates • LV, HV Distribution boxes • Infrastructure

  3. South Status • FEMs - all parts in hand, boards being fabbed, will be in hand in January. • ROCs - First two tested. Assembly of next 13 started. Balance will wait until 3/1 for delivery of AMUX chip. • Transition cards - Boards and parts in hand. Will be assembled in early January.

  4. South Status, cont. • Passthrough backplanes - in hand. • Digital backplanes - should arrive before end of month. • Crates - first article at ORNL awaiting test. • Distribution boxes - in hand. • Infrastructure - in place. • Installation of cables and start of commissioning - pre-Quark Matter.

  5. North Status • FEMs, transition cards, backplanes, crates - ordered along with South. • ROCs - SOW submitted to order parts at ORNL. Could finish by August 2001 depending on long leadtime parts. • LV, HV boxes - No schedule yet. Can’t install before long shutdown, they will be done in plenty of time for that.

  6. North Status, cont. • Infrastructure - casually suggested by Tom Shea that we get this job done this shutdown - will push to get this done.
