  2. Report from Review Meeting • Deliverables had been accepted in advance and were said to be of very good quality • Surprisingly, a presentation was nevertheless required • Other leading people from the cluster unavailable:  PM did presentations for compilers and for timing analysis • Reviewers were happy with the results. • Condensed format of review preferred

  3. Minor comments • Security not really fully integrated • What will happen to Website, tools etc. at end of project? • Deliverables for Y 4 due by middle of November • Final review on Dec. 12, 2008(on the project as a whole) • Money has to be spent until end of August

  4. Summer School • Summer school will be organized in September 8-12 2008; Speakers for CTA have been selected(Wilhelm (keynote), Leupers, Marwedel (+Falk; on memory architecture aware compilation),Thiele (mapping applications to MPSoCs)) • 1 month extension for Artist2; nevertheless suggested to make payments no later than in August, if at all feasible. • URL: http://www.artist-embedded.org/artist/ARTIST2-Summer-School-2008.html • Vercors Parc Naturel Regional

  5. 1st Workshop on mapping of Applications to MPSoCs (ArtistDesign) • June 16/17th at St. Goar, Germany • Joint workshop Artist2/ArtistDesign/Hipeac2/ACOTES;participants from other projects only by acceptance • Workshop registration: send form to Peter Marwedel • Hotel registration: directly with Schloss Rheinfels;be sure to mention “ARTIST”. • See http://www.artist-embedded.org/artist/Mapping-of-Applications-to-MPSoCs.html for more info • Limited seats, rooms etc; register early!

  6. Promises for Y4 Problem to be Tackled over the next 12 months (Sept 2007 – Aug 2008) • Integration of components. Finalize ALF. Embed ALF in AIR (computation semantics). • Flow description format. Continue research. Set up Flow Description Challenge. • WCET Tool Challenge 2008. • Timing Predictability. Will be continued in PREDATOR. • Measurement-based Timing Analysis. Continue work on framework. Experiments. Emphasis: transferring current monolithic framework into modular tool platform. • WCET-Aware Compilation. Optimizations: influence of standard optimizations, novel WCET-aware. Integrate flow analysis techniques into Dortmund compiler.

  7. Promises for Y4 (2) Year4 milestone: “Version 2 integration of existing components” Indicators for Integration: • Working integration of Mälardalen’s flow analysis with aiT and Bound-T. • Path description attributes for AIR. • Successful embedding of ALF in AIR. • Joint publications about Timing Analysis.
