  1. Rock, Paper, SCISSORS! • Game Instructions • Rock paper scissors is a two player game. The objective is to select a play ( i.e. R,P or S ) that defeats your opponent's play. • Rock smashes Scissors: Rock wins • Scissors cut Paper: Scissors wins • Paper wraps Rock: Paper wins • Same play: Play again to win • Everyone pair up • Introduce your name, year, and major • Winners play against other winners, while losers cheer for & chant the name of your conqueror • Grand Winner come get your prize!

Goal #1 • Increase our number of members who are actively achieving the mission • Members that are constantly benefiting • Continue to have beneficial workshops, speakers, socials, and programs • Have interactive meetings • Have focused-based study sessions • We will measure this by: • Change in club GPA • Number of members at events • Number of members who receive internships this yearyear SBES Society of Black Engineers and Scientists Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo

Goal #1 • Increase our number of members who are actively achieving the mission • Members that are constantly benefiting • Continue to have beneficial workshops, speakers, socials, and programs • Have interactive meetings • Have focused-based study sessions • What we’ve done so far: • Have regular weekly SBES study halls • Hosted career and professional development workshops with PG&E, Helix Electronics, Apple and many more companies • Member participation in Summer Engineering Experience for Kids (SEEK) program SBES Society of Black Engineers and Scientists Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo

Goal #2 • Get more involved with NSBE • Networking opportunities • Staying aligned with the mission • Plan of action: • Monitoring our additional participation in NSBE Regional Conference calls • Participating in Regional Zone Events • Bringing other NSBE members or chapters to our chapter SBES Society of Black Engineers and Scientists Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo

Goal #2 • Get more involved with NSBE • Networking opportunities • Staying aligned with the mission • What we’ve done so far: • Been talking on the phone and emailing the regional representatives • Adopted more NSBE principles and applied them into this year’s programs • Attended RLC: Networked with regional board, NSBE Alumni, other chapter officers • Former NSBE Alumni Ex Chair coming Nov 13th to prepare us for FRC SBES Society of Black Engineers and Scientists Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo
