  24. Fun Facts About Ancient Egypt • Art in ancient Egypt was very magical. • They used various tools to create chronicles of life in Ancient Egypt. • The tools they used to create the artwork were clays, soil, Minerals and charcoals.

  26. Embalmer • An embalmer mummifies the dead.

  27. How long does the embalming process take? • 70 days for the whole process • 40 days for the body to dry • 30 days to oiling, taking out organs and being stuffed with palm wine, frankincense, sawdust, and molten resin.

  28. Decorating the Mummy • Amulets, Linen Wrappings, Finger and Toe Stalls, and artists decorate the Mask. • Artists also paint the mummy’s pet’s case. • Other artists rub a thin sheet of gold onto wood to look like solid gold.

  29. Ceremony • Embalmer hires mourners and priests. • Mourners cry and sob during the ceremony. • Priests perform prayers.
