  1. Welcome to ELL, 1/30/12 • Warm up: • Pick up ESL notebook • Pick up textbook • Writing warm up ( write on next blank page in ESL notebook): • Write about a bad day you’ve had, what happened? Why was it so crummy?

  2. I can statement/agenda • Today, 1/30, I can… • Know: Apply sequence note taking to timelines. • Do: Create a “Titanic” timeline as a class Agenda: • Writing warm up: 5 minutes • Timeline activity: 20-25 minutes • Repair homework: 20 minutes

  3. Timeline activity • Work together!!! • As a group, pick the important dates from the Titanic story (using textbook and notes) • Create a timeline that includes dates and what happened on those dates • Far left (most historic) far right (more present)
